Hi!

We’re Megan and Amanda — two licensed clinical psychologists who also happen to be parents. We created this newsletter to share simple, science-backed tips that help parents navigate the ups and downs of family life with more calm and confidence.

Join us by signing up and become part of a supportive community—because parenting shouldn’t be a struggle you face alone.

  • I’m a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in New York and New Jersey, with over 20 years of experience helping people manage anxiety and related challenges. I studied psychology at Princeton and earned my PhD from Temple University, then trained at top hospitals like Harvard Medical School and Weill Cornell. I’ve taught and mentored other psychologists and now run Hudson River Therapy, a private practice where I focus on practical, science-backed care that really works.

  • I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with broad experience supporting teens, adults, couples, and families. I studied English at Trinity College, earned my Master’s at NYU, and completed my doctorate at CUNY, followed by postdoctoral training at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. Along the way, I trained in evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. I’ve also taught at Weill Cornell, Columbia, and Case Western Reserve, and have published over 15 papers and book chapters on mental health topics.
